Mattie E - Senior Portraits

Meet Mattie. Another brilliant young lady that I got to know while my daughter was playing rugby in high school. I was thrilled when her mom asked me about Senior Pictures. They had moved north and I wasn't sure I would get to see this family again. 

Mattie chose some fantastic locations for me to photograph her in. I was not familiar with her area & appreciated her help with location scouting. She chose two locations that meant a lot to her. Mattie even brought along, Nick to her photo shoot and I had just had to include him. Aren't they just adorable? They met at a rugby tournament in Elkhart, IN. They both play Wisconsin rugby. I miss being a rugby mom so it was fun listening to their stories. 

I really had fun with these two crazy kids. They chose a sunset session, we chased the light at each location. When clients choose sunrise or sunset as their session time we get that gorgeous glow! We found graffiti out in the middle of the forest and I'm pretty sure when they first showed me I squeaked with joy. Thank you Mattie & Nick. You guys rock.
