A wedding ceremony that brought two different congregations together. This day was filled with joy, laughter, and happiness. It was all around us. One of my favorite parts of the ceremony was when the entire family was giving communion during the ceremony. I've never seen that and I thought it was truly lovely. At the very end, right before the kiss, the kids were called up to the alter. I loved that they got to walk back down the aisle together as a family. It was so sweet. 

After a ceremony that was filled with surprises everyone was invited downstairs for a dessert filled reception with fun for all. I don't know which of the kiddos had more fun or brownies! The bride and groom worked the room hugging and thanking all of their guests for celebrating the new marriage with them.  

After the reception was over we headed for Cantigny Park in Wheaton for some incredible sunset portraits with the family followed by a special dinner celebration at the Weber Grill in Lombard.
